Rasam 
Ingredients 
Tamerind extract - 1 cup(diluted)
Turmeric powder - 1tsp 
Jaggery - 2 tsp
Salt - to taste 
Moong dal - 1 cup (boiled and diluted in water) 
Water - as required 
Jeera pepper powder - 3tsp 
Commonly tempered ingredients - 1tsp 
Method 
In a vessel, add tamarind extract, turmeric powder and jaggery. 
Let the raw flavor vanish. 
Now add boiled Moong dal, water and salt. 
Add pepper and jeera powder. 
Let it get boiled well. 
Now add the commonly tempered ingredients. 
Serve it hot.
