Carrot halwa or Kajar ka halwa



Carrot halwa recipe 


Ingredients 

Carrot - 1 cup
Home made kova - 1/4 cup 
Ghee - 3 tsp 
Dry fruit - 2 tsp 
Elaachi - 2 no.s
Saffron - 1/4 pinch 
Milk - 1/4 cup
Sugar - 3 spoon 


Method 

In a Kadai, heat ghee and add dry fruits to roast them.
After roasting, add carrots and keep stirring. 

Once the color starts changing, add kova and mix well. 

In the milk add the saffron and keep it ready. 

Crush the elaachi and add it into the Kadai. 

Add saffron milk and keep stirring.

Once it becomes thick, add 2 cups of water and close the kadai with lid. 

Once it becomes thick, add sugar and keep stirring. Also add little water while stirring. 

Once the mixture comes together, ur carrot halwa is ready. 

Serve it warm with ice cream or serve it cold as per ur wish!!
