Morkozhambu or morukutaan


Moor kozhambu or Morukuttaan 
Ingredients 
Ladies finger - 1 cup 
Coconut - 1 cup (grated) 
Green chillies - 2 no.s 
Pepper powder - 2 tsp 
Curd - 1/2 cup 
Coconut oil - 1tsp
Turmeric powder - 1tsp 
Salt - to taste

Tempering 
Coconut oil - 1 tsp
Mustard - 1 tsp 
Curry leaves - handful 
Method 
Add coconut, green chillies and grind well into a paste. 
In a Kadai, add oil, ladies finger and roast it well. 
Add turmeric powder and salt to it. Mix well. 
Now add the coconut paste and water. Let it boil well and get a thick consistency. 
Now add curd to it and cook for 2 mins in low flame. 
Add pepper, mix well and turn off the flame. 
Now in a separate pan, add oil, mustard  curryleaves, and let them splutter. 
Now add this tempering to the kozhambu. 
Serve it hot with any upperi / Thoran / pickle. 
Note: You can add or reduce the spice in accordance to your preferences.
