Manga saadham 

Ingredients 

Mango - 1/2 cup grated (raw) 
Rice - 1 cup (cooked)
Green chillies - 1 tsp (finely chopped) 
Ginger - 1 tsp (finely chopped) (optional) 
Curry leaves - hand full 
Coriander leaves - hand full 
Kasuri methi - 1 tsp 
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp 
Asafortida - 1 tsp 
Musturd - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1 tsp 
Gingali oil - 2 tsp 
Sugar or jaggery - 1/2 tsp (optional) (to enhance the taste) 
Salt - to taste  

Method 

In kadai, add oil, mustard, jeera, curry leaves, chillies and let it splutter. 

Add asafortida, turmeric powder and mango and cook in medium flame. 

Once the raw flavour of the mango vanishes, add cooked rice, salt and mix well and turn off the flame 

Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and crushed the Kasuri methi.

Serve it hot with any spicy gravy or jeera pappad or lemon pickle!!
