MangaKutaan (a) Maambazha Kutaan (a) Maambazha pulishery
Ingredients
Mangoes - 1 cup (randomly chopped)
Curd - 1/4 cup
Coconut - 1/2 cup (grated)
Red chillies - 4 no.s
Fenugreek seeds - 1 tsp
Jaggery - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Coconut - 2 tsp
Musturd - 1 tsp
Curryleaves - handful
Salt - to taste
Method
In a Kadai, add mangoes, turmeric powder, water and boil well.
Add salt and jaggery to it.
In a Kadai, dry roast fenugreek seeds, red chillies and turn off the flame. Now add the grated coconut and mix well in the heat.
Now add this roasted ingredients and grind well nicely into a paste.
Now add this paste to the boiled mangoes.
Let them all come together.
Now keep the stove in low flame and add curd to it.
Mix well and let it not boil.
Turn off the stove before it boils.
Now in a Kadai, add coconut oil and musturd with curry leaves. Let it splutter.
Now add this to the kutaan.
Serve it hot with fluffy rice.
