Inji elaachi thatti potae tea (freshly crushed ginger elaachi tea)
Ingredients
Milk - 1 cup
Water - half cup
Tea powder - 1.5 tsp
Sugar - 1/4 tsp
Elaachi - 1
Ginger - 1 tsp
Method
Crush the ginger and elaachi together well and keep it aside.
In a vessel, add milk and water.
Once it turns to be hot, add sugar and tea powder. Let it boil well.
Now once it comes together and it had got all the flavors of tea powder added, add the crushed ginger-elaachi and let it boil for a minute.
Turn off the flame and filter it.
While I filter, I crush the added ginger and elaachi which stay on the filter to get the maximum flavour and aroma.
Enjoy the tea with snacks or rain❤
