Green peas masala



Green peas masala 

Ingredients 

Peas - 1.5 cup (parboiled) 
Onion - 2 no. 
Cashew - handful 
Tomato puree - 1 cup 
Jeera powder - 2 tsp 
Red chilli powder - 2 tsp 
Garam masala - 1 tsp 
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Oil - 1 tbsp 
Butter - 1 tsp 
Jeera - 1/2 tsp 
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp 
Green chillies - 2 no. 
Bay leaves - 1 
Cinnamon sticks - 1
Elaachi - 2 
Coriander leaves - handful 
Kasuri methi - 1 tsp 
Salt - to taste 


Method 

In a Kadai, add 1/2 tbsp of oil, onion and cashew. Fry them well till they turn golden brown in color and grind them into a thick paste. 

In a Kadai, add ghee and oil, jeera, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, elaachi, ginger garlic paste, green chillies, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and cook well.

Once the flavours gets into the oil, add tomato puree and mix well. 
Cook for 10-15 mins 

Now add onions cashew paste, salt and jeera powder. Cook well by adding water. 

Once it get cooked well, add partially cooked peas and Garam masala powder. 
Add water and cook for 10 mins. 

Now once it becomes thick and creamy, sprinkle coriander leaves and serve hot.
