Paav baaji
Ingredients
Onions - 2 (finely chopped)
Tomato - 2 (pureed)
Potato - 1 cup (boiled)
Mixed vegs - 1 cup (you can skip if not available)
Butter - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tsp
Coriander leaves - handful
Lemon juice - 2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Spices
Elaachi powder - 1/2 tsp
Bay leaves - 1
Cinnamon sticks - 1
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Dhanya powder - 2 tsp
Jeera powder - 1 tsp
Pepper - 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp (I like the tangy taste)
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Method
In pan, add oil, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, all the spices and ginger garlic paste and cook well.
Once the raw flavour vanishes, add tomato puree and keep mixing. Let it boil for 5-7 mins.
Now add potatoes, mixed vegs and smash well.
Once it thickens, create a space at mid of pan by placing the tomato mixture at edge or around the center.
Now add ghee, onions and mix well. Now combine the tomato mixture along with onions and cook for 5-7 mins by adding water.
Once it thickens, sprinkle onions and coriander leaves and serve this baaji with Pav or bread❤
