Sooji/bombay Rava upma or vegetable upma



Ghee Rava Upma 
Ingredients 
Rava - 1 cup 
Onion - 1 
Tomato - 1
Green chillies - 2 tsp 
Curry leaves - 5 
Turmeric powder - 1tsp 
Coconut oil - 1 tsp 
Ghee - 2 tsp
Musturd - 1 tsp 
Cashews - 5 
Water - as required 
Salt - to taste 
Method 
Add oil and ghee in a Kadai.
Once it gets heated, add musturd and let it splutter. 
Now add green chillies, curryleaves and onions and cook well. 
Now add tomatoes, turmeric powder and salt. 
Once the tomatoes turns mashy, add water and let it come together and boil well. 
Now turn it into low flame. 
Now add rava (sooji) and mix well evenly. Add water and salt if required and mix well. 
Close it with a lit and cook in low flame for 5 mins. 
Turn off the flame and let it rest for 5 mins. 
Serve it hot with chutney and sambar. 
I love it with mango or lemon pickle.
