Method

In a Kadai or vessel, add 1tsp of ghee, moong daal and rice.

Roast it a little and add milk, half a cup of water. Let it get cooked well.

Now in a separate vessel, add water, jaggery and make it into a syrup.

Filter the syrup and keep it aside.

In a pan, add ghee, cashews, raisins and let them get changed into golden brown in color and add this cooked rice.

Add the syrup, elaachi to the rice and mix well.

Let them get cooked well, come together and serve once u see the ghee coming out and giving a glace to this dish.

This is a very old traditional and tasty, mouth watering dish. This is served as prasaadham to god and goddesses in Hindu temples, especially in South India and kids so crazy for this prasaadham. Even now people love this food, wait for this in a long queue when served at temple after Poojai. This is also highly nutritious and is good for our south Indian climatic condition.

What next just cook and enjoy food. Live and love, let live❤
